SuffolkSepticGrant.com helps Suffolk County homeowners check septic grant eligibility and compare the installers on the county's approved SIP list. If you're on that list, you can claim your listing and receive quote requests from homeowners.
We're independent. SuffolkSepticGrant.com is a private website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Suffolk County, the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, or New York State. Being listed here, or receiving requests from us, has nothing to do with your standing on the county's approved list.
The terms
- Free listing. Every installer on the county's approved list is listed free, using the details on the county's public list. Claim your listing (free) to correct details and add the towns you serve.
- First 3 quote requests free. Once you opt in, your first 3 homeowner quote requests cost nothing.
- Then $75 per request. After the free ones, each quote request we send you is $75.
- At most 3 installers per request. Each homeowner request goes to no more than 3 installers. If the homeowner picked you as their preferred installer, you're sent the request first.
- Free replacement for bad contact info. If a request has a wrong phone number or is fake, tell us within 14 days and we'll replace it with a new request at no charge.
- Billed monthly by invoice. At the start of each month we email an invoice listing the previous month's billable requests (request ID, date, town). No card on file and no upfront payment.
- No contract. Cancel anytime. Email us (the address on any request we send you, or via the contact form) and we'll stop sending requests right away. You only pay for requests already delivered. Your free listing stays up either way.
How requests work
- A homeowner fills in our quote form and agrees to have their details shared with up to 3 county-approved installers.
- We email you the request (name, phone, email, town and address, system, timeline, grant status). Replying to that email reaches the homeowner directly.
- You contact the homeowner and quote as you normally would. Any work is between you and the homeowner.
What we don't do
- We don't sell placement in the county's information: installer details and county-published prices on this site are copied from Suffolk County's public documents, and paying us doesn't change them.
- We don't share a request with more than 3 installers, and we don't resell it later.
- We don't charge homeowners.
